Okay so firstly ‘the sweatpants of makeup’ is the phrase I’ve been been needing to describe my more minimal ‘I’m doing this so I don’t look like a sad goblin during my 9-5 WFH followed by my 5-9 writing life’ look, but yours is much more succinct so thank you for this, lol. Tbh eye makeup is the thing I’m least likely to slap on since the windows to my soul are sensitive, so I always stick to a blush lip combo in my camp! Currently rocking the Fenty Cream blush with a Pat McGrath Divine Rose 2 Lip Shine I copped at Marshall’s, popped on some of the Glossier Cloud Paint Bronzer to get a lil ~crazy~ with it (lol) and hoping it’ll get me through this two hour Zoom meet 😩

The Fenty blushes are sooo good! But yeah, I thought sweatpants of makeup was probably more appealing than “how to not look like a goblin” but that's really what I wanted to call it 😂

Ugh yesss they’re fantastic. I’ve got the Rose Cafe and the Summertime Wine shades but Riri and Raisin Standards have been calling my name for the past yearrrrrr. Okay I’m glad I’m not the only one who has goblin status at home because boy oh boy is it something to transform out of in the mornings when uncaffeinated 💀

I’ve definitely been stuck in my “sweatpant” makeup routine lately. Chanel might be the move for a skincare-like base!

It's between the chanel or the discontinued version of Mac face and body 😭

"sweatpants of makeup" is genius, how have I never thought of it!! I'd say concealer over any foundation or tint and the blush haaaas to be glowy. if I keep up with my brows, a gel, mascara and lippie really is all you need and it just makes me feel put together. these are beautiful recs!

My WFH face is so quick and comfortable, I’m finding I’m taking the same approach for casual dinners and weekends more and more as well. The Beauty Pie wrap star tubing mascara has been a revelation, so easy to remove

I have the Fenty Filt'r Instant Retouch concealer (not sure how it compares to the We're Even one), and on the days when I just want/need to use minimal effort: concealer on spots/red areas + dusting of a powder is enough to get me going. Love this post, keep them coming! :)

This is so similar to my in-office make up look. Blush and tubing mascara are non negotiable for me. I didn’t know Merit makes a tubing mascara….I’ll have to try it. I’ve been using Sarah Creal’s lately and love it.
